If you are driving:
FROM SYDNEY - to Hunter Valley Wine Country via National 1 Highway (or F3 Freeway) (2 hours from Sydney CBD)
From Sydney CBD, cross the Sydney Harbour Bridge heading North and follow signs to Newcastle and North Coast. This will lead you to Pacific Highway.
Follow the Pacific Highway until you reach the National Highway 1 Freeway entrance at Wahroonga. (From Harbour Bridge to National Highway 1 Freeway entrance approx 30 minutes depending on traffic.)
Take the National Highway 1 Freeway north towards Newcastle. Exit the Freeway at the Cessnock / Hunter Valley Vineyards sign. ( Approx 1 hour or 100kms on freeway ). Follow the signs to the town of Cessnock.
We are based 3 km north of Cessnock at 100 Wine Contry Drive, at the same location as the Hunter Valley YHA.
If you don't want to drive:
Cityrail Trains depart Sydney Central Station every 2 hours for Newcastle where you can connect with Rover Coaches for buses to Cessnock. www.cityrail.info
