If you are driving:
FROM SYDNEY - to Hunter Valley Wine Country via National 1 Highway (or F3 Freeway) (2 hours from Sydney CBD)
From Sydney CBD, cross the Sydney Harbour Bridge heading North and follow signs to Newcastle and North Coast. This will lead you to Pacific Highway.
Follow the Pacific Highway until you reach the National Highway 1 Freeway entrance at Wahroonga. (From Harbour Bridge to National Highway 1 Freeway entrance approx 30 minutes depending on traffic.)
Take the National Highway 1 Freeway north towards Newcastle. Exit the Freeway at the Cessnock / Hunter Valley Vineyards sign. ( Approx 1 hour or 100kms on freeway ). Follow the signs to the town of Cessnock.
If you don't want to drive:
From Sydney we recommend you catch a Rover Wine Country Xpress bus from Sydney to the Hunter Valley.

Hunter Valley Cycling will meet you with your hire bikes at any of the Rover Bus drop off points in the Hunter Valley vineyard area and transfer your luggage if staying overnight. At the end of your ride they will meet you at any of the Rover Bus departure points in the Hunter Valley vineyard area.
